Words cannot describe what an amazing job Primavera did in creating my dream kitchen. From start to finish, Joe and Alex were hands on and dedicated to fulfilling every aspect of this project. Designing a kitchen was all new to me and their guidance and expertise assisted me in making this as stress-free as possible. How long has Primavera Builder been in the construction business?
This is a family business started by our father, Augie, in 1978.
Do you have a contractor license?
Yes, Primavera Builder has a residential contractor's license as well as a new construction license that is certified by the state of New Jersey every year.
Can I see your certificate of insurance?
Yes of course, we have worker's compensation and a general liability in the amount of $2,000.000
Will you obtain the contractor permits and set up the inspections required for this construction job?
Yes, Primavera Builder will fill out all permits and set up all inspections.
What is our timeline for construction completion?
This all depends on the job we are doing but we will always give the client a schedule.
What is the payment schedule for the construction work?
We base our disbursements based on agreed upon milestones. For example, foundation is completed, framing is completed, electrical is installed.
Will I have a dedicated construction team working on my job?
Joe or Alex will always be checking on the subcontractors. Our subcontractors have worked with us for a very long time, some as long as 20 years. When hiring a new subcontractor we do a very comprehensive interview as well as look at their previous work. Everything has to be up to the standards that Primavera Builder holds.

What are the approximate start and end times for construction day(s)?
We will to start work at 8am and end around 5pm, though things can vary depending on the job.
Do I need to remove any items that are in or near the construction work areas?
Yes, thank you! If you could remove any hanging fixtures that could fall that would make things easier and safer.
What will the noise level be like during construction?
Construction is typically a little noisy but many clients have worked from home without a problem.
Do you need me to be home at any point during construction?
As long as I can reach you then there is no need to be home.
How will you clean up each day after construction?
Yes, we like to keep things clean, orderly, and respectful. Primavera Builder keeps on site a 30 yard dumpster and we leave the area in a broom clean condition. We also install plastic as dust proof barriers.
How and where will tools and materials be stored if the construction job spans multiple days?
Tools are typically brought each day by the contractors. We rarely keep things at your home.
What steps will you take to protect my property during construction?
Primavera Builder will install plastic with zippered openings to help with the dust. We will protect all floors that we will walk on. Stairs will have a plastic runner placed on them for protection as well. We will do anything else to make sure that nothing happens to your things.
How will additional construction charges be dealt with?
In the rare case of additional costs, Primavera Builder will issue a change order with all details of the extra cost spelled out. It will be signed by Primavera Builder and our client.
Is there a warranty for your service or for the construction materials you’ll be using?
All materials and labor are warrantied for an industry standard 1 year from the date of installation.
